hi - as it stands now I have OKW for first two nights and then we are switching to BCV for the next 8 (come on wait list!). what is the easiest thing to do with luggage and checking into the BCV room? we will have a car. should we just pack up the car and leave it at BCV all day - and check in later in the day (as we want to be in the parks that day)

I've also heard about them transferring your luggage for you? but I figure we still have to go there to try and check in anyways?

also - we have a studio booked for the whole trip for my inlaws, do I have to be with them when they check in as it is under my points?

thanks!

you can check in as early at 7:00 am -if you are going to EPcot or Studios - I would definitely check in before you go to the parks - you might get your room then - if not they definitely know you are checking in and the will try to fill your requests - check in later and you generally get what is left.

Call Ms now and have the reservations put in your inlaws name - must be the same name as the ID that they will be asked to show. then no you don't need to be there when your guests arrive.

after they going to be joining up with you?

you should also ask that your guest (inlaws) be on the same floor as you if possible - if they are staying at the same resort. I think DVC can link the reservations.

Since you will have a car, I would move the luggage yourselves. Disney does a wonderful job of transferring luggage between resorts but it does not get to the next resort until mid afternoon. If you check into BCV and your villa is ready early in the AM you will already have your luggage to get settled into your villa before heading out to the parks. If you villa is not ready just store your luggage with BCV's luggae services.

we switched mid vacation from okw to bcv...
we had the man come at 7:30am and they took our luggage. we drove to the early entry park that day, then drove back to bcv. it was hastle free in my opinion. you have to tell them THE DAY BEFORE YOU WANT YOUR LUGGAGE MOVED. go to the bell hop station at okw and let them know.
hope this helps

Depends on how much luggage you have. A couple of bags I would move myself, more than that, let them move it for you. We have done this several times and it has always worked very well. They pick it up, tag it all and deliver to the room for you, saving you time. Even with going over and checking i early, I let Bellservices take my bags. Last thing I want to do after a day in the parks is lug my bags again.

Regarding in-laws, you can add their name to the reservation and they can check-in without you.
