Switching resorts; how to get luggage transferred?

We are spending four nights at ASMo. Then, we plan to check out very early in the morning (7am) and move to the WL for two nights. How do we get ourselves and bags (for 2 adults and three kids!) to the WL in a timely manner? Do we need to rely on a bus? If so, to we take a bus to the TTC and then to the WL (yikes - with luggage this could be an early morning nightmare!). Is there any sort of luggage transfer service? What about just calling a cab?

The WDW Resorts will transfer your bags for you. I think that you just have to make the arrangements ahead of time, then be patient for them getting moved.

Baggage service will pick up your bags from your AS room and them transfer them to your WL room. No need for you to wait around for this to happen. Just make the arrangements then go check in at the WL. Then head out to the park or where ever you are planning for that day. When you return, your bags will have been brought to your room.

Some folks also do this theirselves by taking a cab. The front desk can assist you with this at the AS. If your plan after check in at the WL includes a dip in the pool, you might want to keep your swim attire in a backpack to carry with you, then you can change after your check in since your luggage won't be there yet. It does take time for them to make the transfer, but they will get there.
