Switching multiple rooms @ 7 months

So my family and I are newer owners to a resale contract at OKW... We have booked a studio and a two bedroom for an extended family vacation. I would like to explore other options at the 7 month window and I was hoping to hear other people's strategies and/or advice because it's already giving me anxiety... Id hate to switch one room and then not have availability for the other, but then I lose "near hospitality house" for one of my reservations... Gah! Please advise! The one thing you can do is contact MS to get an idea of how many rooms are left before they make the change, You do lose the hour advantage for online but at least know if there are enough to take the risk.

The only other way, if you have a few points to double book the studio elsewhere and then modify the 2 bedroom and see if you can change that…if you can, then cancel the OKW studio…if not, don’t modify and then cancel the new room booked.

The other thing you can do is a risk analysis. If you are looking to switch to an Epcot resort over F&W, its a LOT of risk. If you are looking to switch to VAKL in May, there isn't much risk at all. Some of the historical availability sheets should give you an idea of risk.
