Good morning,

How to say this delicately... My husband and I hated Animator's Palate. We did not enjoy our food at all. And we thought the decor and ambiance was meh.

So far we have a dinner booked at Palo and one at Remy. (Night 2 and 3)

We are really hoping to get Royal Palace for one of our other nights because we really liked it.

But what if we end up having Animator's Palate on night 1 and/or night 4. (Is night 4 the same as night 1?)

Can we switch MDR ? How can we do it?

Thanks in advance.

Your best option would be to place a request for a particular rotation before your cruise. You don't say which itinerary you will be on, but you should work out best with a rotation starting in Royal Palace. If you don't get your request, you can either visit the desk making dining changes when you board or try to switch your Palo and Remy nights.

I did not know we could request that in advance! Thanks!

It is only a request, not a guarantee but generally they try to accommodate. You will see your rotation on your KTTW card when you check in. If it is not the rotation you requested then you can proceed to the dining changes venue upon boarding and request a new rotation. Again if they can accommodate you they will.

Yep. They will reiterate that it is just a request and not guaranteed, but they do try to fulfill the requests. We requested a rotation starting in AP for our June cruise and it was granted. Judging from the posts here on Disboards, it seems requests are fulfilled more often than not.

Hi! Just wanted to tell you that I called and they took my request in note for my file. *fingers crossed*.

One more question: 3 MRD, 4 nights. Is the MDR from night 1 automatically the same as night 4?

Thanks in advance!

I believe the dining rotations on the 4 night Dream cruises are 1223. So if you get Royal Palace first, your rotation will be RAAE. With Palo and Remy on nights 2 and 3, you will completely miss Animators Palate.

That rotation would be perfect!!!
