Switching hotels on site

We will be swithching from GC to DLH 3 nights each. Is there somw king of transportation between the two hotels to get our luggage over threre? Or will the bellhops take it over? I know down at WDW they will take care of luggage transferring for you but am not sure here.

When we did this in September 2007, we switched from the DLH to the GCH. We asked them about moving our luggage for us and they said that they didn't provide that service, but that they would hold it for us until we could check in at the other hotel.

We often stay at the DLH or PPH for one or two nights before we check into the Grand. While they are happy we were still staying on property, they have made it clear that it is our responsibility to transport our luggage to the new hotel!

It really isn't that far at all. You can either walk through DTD or around the parking lot. It is closer then walking from GC to the parks.

Will you have a car with you? If yes, then...

What I've done is just load everything back into the car and go for a drive. Then check in to the second hotel and have the bellman take it from there.

You do also have to move your car anyway as they have different lots.

If you have a lot of luggage you can always grab a cab.
