Switching from WL due to large construction project?

I'm curious how many people are switching out of WL due to the supposed construction.

Where are you staying now?

I am doing down early Sept for 4 nights then over to the BWI. I am not so concern since it is early stages. Though I was hoping to take my DS, DIL DGS next year and that where he want to go but after hearing about the construction he said no way. We stay at the Poly the first month they started construction & it wasn't too bad but only one night. Good luck.

we are staying for 2 nights in Dec followed by 5 at BWV. We are debating about switching but we are also excited about seeing VWL at Christmas.

I'm staying at the end of October and I'm not concerned. I doubt the construction will have progressed too far at that point, and as long as the pool is open (construction will only affect the smaller pool) I'm planning on sticking around!

I'm still debating our choice. We have a pin and I had to call a million times to get the WL CYV... And then again to switch to GF GV.

We're staying the beginning of October. I'd only switch if the main pool was going to be closed. Since it's early I'm hoping that the beach will still be accessible.

I have no idea what the plan is for this project, but during the feature pool refurb last year, there was a small strip of beach that was accessible, but a large part of the beach, and the playground, was fenced off to use for construction equipment storage.

I was planning a 2016 WL visit... Now probably not a Disney year...

But that could mean a new kitchen year so all is not lost!

We were planning a trip in 2016 to the villas and we are now switching to Boardwalk Villas or Beach Club Villas.
