switching from escape to wishes!

So Ive been full in the planning mode of my Escape Wedding. Come to find out I cant customize my cake or flowers. I understand the Escape package is for people who dont want to make a ton of decisions but I had read so many things about people customizing their cakes that I assumed I could too. Apparently they did this in the past...go figure now they dont! Oh well Wishes it is! Anyone else do this? Im getting married Nov 14th and now im nervous I have more to plan!

I am the planner for my brother and fiance's wedding and they just switched from Escape to Wishes The main reason was because of the limited guest count . For planning, I've found that the passporter's e-book is fabulous!! I love the interactive Wishes worksheet which calculates sales tax, service fees, etc and then lets you know how everything is adding up for your min. expenditures. Good Luck!!

Is this new did they say? I've never heard this before....did you sign a contract yet or did this just come from the salesperson?

Funny cause with our VR if we can't customize, I'm going to downgrade not upgrade! LOL...

I believe its is fairly new because ive read plenty of things where escape brides have customized their cakes. But I can tell you we tried and they arent budging!
