switching BWV to BCV day by day

Let me start by saying I love this forum ( however my husband thinks that this has finally put me over the disney edge) Here is my question. I am planning on booking BWV the 11 month window, if i want to switch it to BCV at 7 month how do I do this day by day maintaining my initial reservation in case the other isnt available. Do I just wait too check out day. We are planning on going Nov 13th and coming home the 19th. Thanks

The risk you take by switching day-by-day is you split your reservation and may not be able to consolidate it again. If the days at the end of your trip do not come through, you will have to switch resorts during your stay. If this does not concern you, then that is the best way to make the switch. Otherwise you should get on a wait list for Beach Club when you are eligible to do so (7 months prior to check-out).

The other question is how many points do you have? If you have enought to keep BWV ressie and book BCV day by day, than you can cancel BWV when you know you are all set.
