Switching ADRs from 4 to 3?

I made our ADRs at the 180 mark with the idea that there would be 4 of us. Now there are only going to be 3. My question is whether or not I need to call and change them to 3 people, or just show up with just 3 people. I assume that my Credit Card Secured ones (Ohana, HDDR, CP) will need to be changed so that I don't get charged for the 4th person not showing up. But, I'm just wondering how it all works. Do I have to drop the ressie and then re-book (and would I risk not being able to get that ADR again?) or can I call and just ask that they change the # of people?

O.K. so I see in the sticky thread on cancelations that I will not be charged for the Credit Card Guarantee places, but will on Pre-paid locations. So, I don't need to worry about changing those. But I'm still wondering about HDDR, will I have to cancel and then re-book it? Or can I just ask that one person be taken off of my current ressie?
