Well, we were going to stay at HIFS- but just now switched to Coronado Springs. Here's what I got: 2 adjoinig rooms 5/23-5/31 for $1900.00. It is a splurge for us. I hope it is worth the extra money to be onsite!
Now I am getting really excited, but need to make PS, and get organized!!

Are you going for 7 or 8 nights? What is your per night rate? Is it including tax?? Water view or standard?? That will help me figure it out. My total for PO-R for 7 nights starting 6/1 is only $578 (for 1 standard room, including tax). I have a Fl Resident Rate, but there are others out there that are the same as mine (AP Rate)...

What rate do you have them at?

Are you a Fl resident? if so it's $74.00 a night per room
For anyone it's $94 a night using codes

I have the Fl Resident rate...but the AP rate is the same as well. Even at the $94 with tax for 7 nights 2 rooms will come to $1473.92 not $1900. ... 8 nights 2 rooms with tax would come to $1684.48. That is why I am saying I think $1900 is a bit high if it is just for 2 standard rooms.......

That is including taxes, waterview. 8 nights. I think it comes out to $119 a night per room, including tax. Is there something better out there?

If you are an Annual PassHolder you could get a standard view for what I am paying.... $82.88 with tax per night (then per room). Since you will be there 8 nights I would consider getting the Annual Pass also. Then you can try to book your next year's trip before your pass expires & you will definatly have gotten your money's worth. Even if you only get one Annual Pass instead of one for each one in your family. You would still be paying less than what you are now for just the room. Also a tip.... not sure how important your view is, but there are no balcony's or patio's...just windows overlooking the walkways then you see the water. It isn't like you can sit outside your room & enjoy your view. Check out the price for the Annual pass & do your calculations....... it may work out better for you.::yes::

Hi Cheermom. Check out my website below to see whats in store. CSR has the best pool of all the moderates. The main pool site has an arcade, volleyball court and great slide and CSR also has 3 quiet pools. CSR has terrific transportation that is not shared with any other resort. If you going to eat at the Pepper Market (CSR's version of a food court), I would recommend getting the meal vouchers which cost $17.50 each (cheaper on eBay) and allows you to get an entree, side dish, dessert and drink of your choice.

EXAMPLE
Each voucher is good for Lunch or Dinner for the following:

One entree, one side dish, one non-alcoholic beverage, and one dessert

-OR-

One combo meal (entree, side dish and non-alcoholic beverage) and dessert.

Pepper Market: Coronado Springs:
Entree: Ribeye Steak, w/ potatos and Veggies: $17.95
Side: Caesar Salad: $5.99
Dessert: Ranges from $3.95 and up.
Drink: Fruit Smoothie: $3.79
Tax: $1.90. Gartuity (15%): $5.04
Total: $38.62!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All for $17.50 or less and the Pepper Market is one of the locations the vouchers can be used at.

Check out my CSR website below for pics and info.

Here are some figures to play with....

$82.88 per night with tax x 8 = $663.04 x 2 (for 2 rooms)= $1326.08.

Total room cost $1326.08

One Annual Pass (just theme park Annual, not including water parks or PI) is $369 (I think)....with tax it is....$394.83

$1326.08
+ 394.83
________
$1720.91 That will be for room & 1 Annual Pass.

You are paying $1900 for just the room....your savings would be:
$ 179.09 That is a big difference....and can be used towards someone else's pass. In reality...you are saving more, you will will also be purchasing one less pass!::yes:: ::yes::
Call me cheap....but that is the road I would take.... you can call CRO and see if they have any pass holder availability for your time frame:wave2:

Are these the same as the connections quick and casual vouchers? I thought they were only $11.50. I was thinking of geting some for our next trip. If not, which vouchers are these?

We had a FL res rate during peak season of $109 (last year) and we thought it was a steal!!!! It is a beautiful resort.

yes they are but I don't think they are $11.50 but i could be wrong.

Where do I get the meal vouchers for the Pepper Market? I saw that you said I might be able to get them cheaper than 17.50 on E-bay? Can I purchase them at the Pepper Market? If I go on e-bay, what is the exact name of the voucher?

Just search "MEAL VOUCHERS" and 3 or 4 pages will pop up. I just won 12 for 15.16 a piece. This is my first experience with them so I don't know alot about them. I don't think they are available at WDW. They are good at 47 different WDW locations besides the Pepper Market. Your question can probably be answered on the restaurant board. Click here to find out

You should all check out the messages regarding the meal vouchers under the forums "Disney Restaurants" or "Budget Board". The "C&Q" meal vouchers are not worth spending over $11.50 for, unless you plan on eating at Beaches and Cream or Pepper Market all the time with your vouchers. The sellers on ebay are promoting these vouchers as such a good deal, because they all use the meal comparison for Beaches and Cream or Pepper Market. What they don't tell you is that for the remainder of the restaurants listed, you can actually get a meal for LESS than the $11.50 voucher price the ebay sellers bought the tickets for in the first place from a discount firm.

You need to do alot of research before buying the vouchers. Check out menu/prices on www.allearsnet.com and determine exactly what you would purchase if you went to the restaurants (which are mostly counter service restaurants by the way for the "Q&C" vouchers).

If you plan on getting only a couple of the vouchers and using them at Beaches and Cream, or Pepper Market, then you will save money. But do your research first.
