Switched resorts

Looking for feedback. After loving and staying at POFQ the last few times, I had the opportunity to rent points from a friend and switched my reservation from POFQ to Saratoga Springs. Can anyone share their experience?

SSR is a beautiful resort. We have eaten at the Turf Club. (Very good.) Not stayed there yet, and would not hesitate to do so.

My mother (50), my son (5 at the time) and I stayed there last year- ugh! We would not again just bc everything is so spread out! We had to walk literally half a mile to get to the restaurant to eat. That is hard with kids! However- despite that the rooms and the view of Downtown Disney at night- Gorgeous! And tons of rabbits around! Too far for walking and 5 bus stops made it a bit annoying but all in all would stay again but request a room closer to the main house!

I'm travelling with one 14 year old, so walking is not a problem. I'm looking for a nice relaxing pool! I like the sounds of the bunnies too!

Welcome to the DIs!!

This is a very nice resort! We like to stay in the Congress Park section so we have a quick walk to DTD and the great view as well. We didn't find the walk too far to the main complex either.

The main pool is very nice and they often have games and contests for the kids and is near food etc. The quick service food and market is good but limited...but w/DTD steps away, it is not a big deal.

We have had very good luck w/the buses and also find that the resort is very quiet and relaxing. The rooms still seem new and we have seen bunnies, pelicans and a big, beautiful hawk perched on a branch seemingly just for our perusal (but really probably shopping for bunnies).
