Switched my resort, did I make a mistake?

Next week I have a trip booked and originally had it for PO-FQ. I wanted to add a day to my trip so I chose PO-R, a standard room w/ a 5th sleeper.

Is Riverside nice? I added the extra day to enjoy the resort. Concerned I made a mistake! Is PO-FQ walkable from Riverside? Id like to take a look in it.

Absolutely walkable! We're local and sometimes eat dinner at Boatright's (DH LOVES the jumbalaya, and the chicken is really good too), then walk to FQ for beignets at the QS. I think it takes 10-15 minutes (haven't done it in a while), and if that's more than you're comfortable with, the DS boat stops at both resorts so you can ride from one to the other.

riverside is nice but huge it is a nice walk to fq. pofq is compact so not so much walking

Riverside is a beautiful resort! I actually prefer their pool(s) to POFQ. If it weren't such a large resort, I'd book it over POFQ because I find the the theming so awesome. But I much prefer the size/quaintness of POFQ. But you'll have a great time at RS and FQ is just a lovely stroll along the river/quick boat ride!

We love RS and have stayed many times. As previous posters have said, a quick boat ride or walk to the resort and you can check our POFQ. Definitely on your resort day for breakfast go to FQ for beignets!

Before joining DVC, our family stayed at POR because of the sleeping 5 thing. We loved it there! If staying near the food court is really important, be sure to request Bldg 14 or 18, super critical you do this ahead of time. Or you'll have a huge walk for any meal. The big main pool is lots of fun and entertaining in the afternoon for the kids. Food court is great.

Both great! We prefered POFQ, but once we had that third child, we had to do POR. Now we rent DVC Deluxe all the time, haha.
