Just for the heck of it I re-entered codes and mixed them up a little to see if there were any savings to be had. When I did this I saved about $50. and will get another childrens' breakfast certificate. Here's what I did. I took the rental I had for June 25-July 1 and entered the Family Fun Mag. Code, then combined it with the DC coupon for one free day--Midsize 4 door total $122.55 plus the free breakfast voucher (will save me about $10.00) this came back about $12 less than the coupon combined with the codes from DC and you get the breakkie voucher. I reentered the same code (without the coupon for a rental I need May 22-May 25 and shaved about $15.00 off the rental fee, but I upgraded to a bigger car and only end up with a $5.00 savings (plus the other breakkie voucher). Still with the bigger car--well worth the 10 minutes on line. Both rentals are through Alamo with the code from Family Fun Magazine(RC 9M and ID# 803292). So now I have $50. I can use somewhere else in the park and 2 vouchers for the breakfast I have planned in June! If you have a few minutes it may be worth your time on the Alamo site.
I first made the ressies through Alamo about a month or so ago and the rates then were $159. for the 5 days in June for a mid size 4 door and $100.22 for a compact for the 3 days in May.
