i really like our TA but my husband found a really good deal with another Disney authorized TA. Would you switch for a better deal? I feel bad because I know TAs only get paid after we check in and spend our money at Disney but saving money does impact our trip. Thoughts?

Do you already have a trip booked through your old TA? If so, I'd stick with that since the TA has essentially done the work for you, but switch TA's for your next trip.

That's what I was thinking they have already done a lot of work and the moderate resort for the same price as we are paying for the value and being able to add dining would be nice but I think it would be unfair to the current TA. Having said that I did book all of our ADRs myself so I think I missed out a little.

Was this new deal that your husband found an agency exclusive deal or a Disney discount? If it was a Disney discount, give your current TA the chance to match it. Otherwise, if the new deal would save you a considerable amount of money, I'd cancel your current reservation and go with the new TA. Business is business, and I'm not willing to spend money needlessly just to avoid hurting a TAs feelings.

It is a deal exclusive to the other TA company. I just feel bad because the current TA has given me lots of advice but if free dining doesn't come out I'll really need to switch

I think I'm going to have to switch. Right now CBR wit dining or POFQ would be about 3800 with our current TA. With the new one it would be 2500. That is $1300! If it was like $500 I'd eat the difference but over $1000. I'll fee bad but that's a lot of money!

Ask if her company can match the deal? That is a lot of money!

I guess all Travel agents aren't the same. Our first trip ( many years back) , we were going to use AAA. We went there to book it. It was going to be $500 more than booking it ourselves! I guess the discounts mentioned above are great, if you can get them. They told us that Disney doesn't offer discounts ever. We've been booking ourselves ever since then.

I agree. A few hundred, I would feel bad that the other TA did so much work and I would stick with her. But this is way too much money. I would switch too!
