After listening to some podcasts, and reading recent reviews, I'm wondering if I should switch my reservation from Le Cellier for a resort restaurant. Le Cellier is my "grown-up" expensive meal for this trip, and I'm wondering if I should go with something else.

Opinions?

LeCellier is the only choiceif you love Filet Migon its the best, pretzel bread amazing. If kids are in your group it may not be for them, but adult meal absolutely.

Unless, it gets much better with the restaurant going to signature, I would change it. We finally decided to eat there last summer and it was the worse meal of any we have had so far.... It's especially bad if you do not like salt that much.. Everything was SEA WATER salty.

Are you a boring meat and potatoes couple who doesn't like to venture fare from a plain grilled meat with a bland carb side? Do you not have a good (not great, think Outback or Saltgrass) steakhouse in your home town? LC is a run of the mill average steakhouse slammed in the middle of WDW. Are there other WDW options that sound more tempting?

I'd give LeCellier a shot. We had a great meal there and our steaks were fabulous. Sure, I don't think it lives up to the hype but I think it is a good solid meal choice for EPCOT.

We enjoyed our meal at Kona Cafe at the Poly so much more. Our steaks were better, the service was better and our over all experience was better. I would put Kona before Le Cellier any day. :thumbsup2

We enjoyed our dinner there in December. I can only say that I was disappointed one time in LeCellier and that was when I got the prime-rib instead of my usual filet.
We love it. Have a ressie for Valentine's Day.

I would definitely switch to something else. Although it's always had consistently good food, we always have to wait quite awhile to get in. I've always felt it was a bit over-rated, but now with it's "signature" status, I feel it's really over-rated!!! If you'd like to eat in Epcot, I'd suggest Les Chef's, Corral Reef or San Angel(yes...I just suggested San Angel...we like it!:confused3). Otherwise, Flying Fish, Brown Derby or Jiko are some other favorites of ours. ENJOY whatever you pick!!!:thumbsup2
