I think I remember posts regarding people switching the land/sea order. Is this still allowed? I would like to do the cruise first, then the 3 day Disney.
If you are booking the Land/Sea through DCL then you have to take the land porting first. That is the way they offer it. If you book both on your own (separately) then you can do it the way you were talking about.
This is the reason we booked it separately on our own. On our first cruise we came home right after the cruise, and it made us feel very letdown. So, last summer we decided to go to WDW after the cruise -- gave us something to look foward to as they are shooing you off the deck. The cruise is wonderful, and I highly recommend a WDW cushion trip afterwards to soften the blow before having to go home.
