Switch from POR to POFQ?

Hi all, we just booked a last minute trip and we are POR but really wanted to be POFQ. All they have availibility at POFQ is a King room online... does anyone know the odds of a double room being available to switch onto at check in? We just really wanted the smaller resort but We'll definitely be happy with either. Also... in case anyone at FQ wants to "trade" rooms to POR we will be there Oct 12- Oct 17.

Why not try calling POFQ and asking? A lot of times the resort will have the room you need without it showing up online. Good luck; we're staying at POFQ in March!

We also like POFQ because of it's size, but if you haven't stayed at POR before I think you will enjoy it. If you end up staying at POR and if being close to dining, bus, pool, main building is important to you and you don't mind if you don't stay in one of the mansions, then request building #14.
