Switch from Halloween to Christmas?

Please help me remember....do they change the decorations overnight so that it is Halloween on Oct 31 and then Christmas on Nov 1?

No it usually takes a week for so for all the parks and resorts to get the Christmas decor up. Also MNSSHP in MK can go into Nov 1st or 2nd so that decor is left up until that is finished. To be safe if you want to book a trip to see the Christmas Decor I would book with the trip starting around Nov 12th-15th.

The first Xmas party at the MK is about a week after the last Halloween party so its quick but not instantaneous.

Its not until before Thanksgiving that all the decorations are up. Also the tree at the MK is not up until after the parade taping due to the camera placement.
