You can't get it more than once. Once you get it, you'll have antibodies against it, keeping you from getting it again. This is actually the very reason that vaccines work.
That is the opposite of what I was told by my Dr, the hospital and the pharmacy yesterday!
I think though there are different strains. You could get a different type. Unless they are specifically tested, you can't be sure the original person has H1N1.
They H1N1 is constantly changing so you can get it more than one time- which is why the vaccines is not a sure bet even on H1N1. I thought I was out of the woods being I just got over it- and yea it was crappy and not a great few days but no way in heck would I intentionally expose anyone to this! My feeling on people who do the "parties" are the same as the ones that do it with chicken pox to their children- they are insane and should have their parental rights looked into!!!
