Should I have the kids wear their suits under their clothes? or is it easy to get changed onboard right after you checkin?

We could not get into our rooms until 1:30....I guess it all depends what time you get on the ship! I did see a few kids in the pools from the first minute, so might not be a bad idea.

IT is easier to wear them under the clothes. I don't my kids did but we got lucky and our cabin was ready pretty soon after we boarded.

I didn't know about these boards then and we took DCL busses and didn't get to the port until about 1:00 (i think) but now that I know how to do everything right when we board, the kids might be wearing their suits:teeth:

EDited to add: Welcome to the DIS, Val2001..I wanted to say that but it "post" too quickly. I guess I have over-anxious fingers!

It really doesn't matter. Our kids just brought them in their carry-on bag and were able to change in the restroom. It was no big deal. We were on the ship at 12:15 and my daughter was in the Mickey pool by 12:45.

I think wearing the swimsuits under their clothes is a good idea. I KNOW DCL does a great job cleaing EVERYTHING on the ship, but the idea of changing clothes in a public restroom stall kinda grosses me out.

The water purity will be at its best on embarkation day and the crowds will be the smallest between boarding and 4pm manditory safety drill.

Go For It.
