DH and I have booked a trip to DLRP in November - it will be our 4th trip there together but our first as a family - we will be taking our baby who is due in a few weeks time and will be approx 6 months old

We have booked a Golden Forest Room at Sequoia Lodge - our first time staying here and was all great til I just realised (after booking) that the pool will be closed. We were looking forward to using the pool a couple of times this trip so I am a little disappointed I never realised prior to booking!!

Looking at our options - I'm not too keen to move hotels to the NY or NBC and give up the perks of staying in the Golden Forest Room and the Disneyland hotel is out with our budget. Does anybody know if we have any other options that would mean we could use the pools at other hotels? And if so do they even let babies in the pools?

If it is planned closures then you can not use other hotel pools. The only time they allowed this was when a closure at the NPB over ran so people booked not knowing it was still closed

Just as an aside, I think the water in the disney hotels would be freeeeezing for a 6 month old baby. We found it chilly enough even with older kids who were being really active and charging around non-stop, so you may actually have dodged a bullet!

No input on the swimming pools but Izzie, lovely to see you around on here again Congratulations on your exciting news! I remember reading your TRs a few years ago before when you guys were planning your wedding, scary how time flies. Hope you will write another TR for this trip
