swimming pools

What time do the swimming pools close at the WDW resorts? I've done some research, but have come up empty handed. Also, can you swim at any resorts or just the one you are staying at?

The resort pools have different times. You can only swim at your own pool or a sister pool. For an example, if you are staying at an All Stars then you can swim in any of the All Stars pools. You cannot hop to other pools unless you are a DVC member, ie Disney timeshare member.

We were told by the staff at POR that the ones there are always open, however there is no lifeguard on duty after a given time at night, so swim at your own risk.

some pools are 24 hours - some are 10 to 10 others are 10 to whenever the lifeguards leaves. SALB closes when the lifeguards leaves - too many places for children (and adults) to get in trouble. but their quiet pools are pool 24 hours - as long as you or your guests are causing others guest to not sleep.

then you will be thrown out.
