I'm panicking. Too soon I guess, but...

As mentioned before I booked SL. Happy with that. Well, until I found out there's no kids swimming pool like in HNY. I've got two kids who are afraid of big deep swimming pools. And the main reason why I booked SL was it had a pool. So, another question - does NBP have small not deep kids swimming pool? Or is there an area in big pool that's not so deep?

Looking at Google found this for you of the NBC - looks like a small pool at the back of the photo :)

I'm sure someone who has stayed there will be along to help you more

Thanks, looks good. I wonder if SL has the same, but people say no. I just hope someone who's been there will give more detail information.

OT: how did you manage to get a pic like this? I did search google, but wasn't so lucky :lmao:

I stayed in SQL in June and was a bit disappointed with the pool to be honest. My DD is only just learning to swim and is still quite nervous and as the pool is so deep all over I had to hold her the entire time. The only alternative was the baby splash pool but that was the equivalent of splashing in puddles!

Was a long time ago that I stayed a NPB but I remember the pool being better!

I can't remember a kids pool at Newport and the one on the photo do I remember as a whirlpool

they do have baby pool in SL, right????????

Do they allow kids in whirlpool/jacuzzi? If yes, it could be even better than pool, because the water is a lot warmer there.

In HNY they did. DS1 preferred whirlpool, but DS2 loved baby pool. If SL does have one, they'll be happy.

I do remember there being an age limit (i think you had to be 12+) to use the jacuzzi at the Sequoia Lodge and you have to swim through the main pool to get to it.
Stupid thing is you have to swim through the pool when you get out as well and after being in the jaccuzi the water is freezing.

Yes, that's a whirlpool. There was a sign up saying no kids under a certain age (think it may have been 12??) yet the life guards were turning a blind eye. It wasn't much fun for the little kids who did try playing in there though as adults want to sit there to relax and there's no room for kids to splash around, what kid wants to sit still in a pool!!

And there's no other way to get into jacuzzi in SL than swim in pool? I won't be able to get my kids in even if I want to :confused3

Hmm, I can't remember if you can touch the floor or not? maybe someone will know the answer?
It is a really stupid idea though having to get in the pool to even get to the jacuzzi and unfortunately that is the only way in yes.:sad1:

how stupid this is. And what about the one who can't swim ( like me) :sad2:
