Swimming Pools

Hi All,

So, all WDW resorts have outdoor swimming pools, but when the weather gets too frigid, not too many people favor being outside splashing around in the water. So, what if indoor pools were added? Like, one to each resort? I think that would be lots of fun for winter weather. What about you?

Personally I would not like it at all, Somehow it doesn't fit into the themeing of WDW.
The pools are heated and the amount of time that it is too cold to swim is short. I would rather see WDW spend that money on other things.

The resorts at Disneyland Paris have indoor pools and some of them are very pretty (the Sequoia Lodge comes to mind).

I can't see them building indoor pools. In Florida, there aren't that many weeks when it's too cold to swim outdoors, it just wouldn't be worth it to them to go to the expense of building pools that wouldn't be used most of the year.

I would love indoor pools...cold days, rainy days, get out of the sun days.....

i wouldn't like it, beint a WL faithful... there's nowhere to put one! even if there was they wouldn't be able to theme it with the lodge unless they made another spring/creek... which wouldn't fit in either...

In my experiences, indoor pools are very noisy. As an adult, I don't find them very relaxing at all. We lived in Nebraska for twelve years and yeah, it was cool to be in a pool when it was snowing outside. We moved south to get away from six or eight months of crappy weather.

We just returned from Disney World. It wasn't the warmest conditions. But we didn't care if it was too cold to go in the pool or to ride Kaki River Rapids. We adjusted, adapted and moved on.

We stayed offsite and even that pool was heated and had people in it all the time. Experiencing getting out of a nice warm pool and running for your towel because of the outside temperature should be something everyone does at least once in their lives.
