swimming pool question

hi guys going to disney in november and staying at the lodge and it seems the pool is closed do u know if we can use the other sites pools

You are not officially allowed to use the pool at other hotels, but since the one at SL will be closed, it may be worth asking at check in if you are entitled to use another hotel's pool. Don't hold out much hope but worth a try especially as November shouldn't be too bust

I think its for insurance reasons you can't use the other hotel pools.

that sucks as it was one of the main reasons we book that hotel cos i have been told how nice the pool is which i had the guts to complane lol

How did you book?? It's on the official website that the pool is closed so if you booked via the internet then I guess you would have been expected to spot it. If you booked via a travel agent or via the telephone then I would have thought the agent should have told you??

If it's any consolation we always say "we must stay in a hotel with a pool" but can rarely drag ourselves away from the parks or shops in order to use it!!!

I can concur. Davy Crockett Ranch is viewed as having the best on-site pool We managed 1 day during an 11 day holiday

Does anyone know the dates for the closure of the SL swimming pool? Im going on Oct 7th for 5 nights and really want to be able to use it

I'm surprised that your tour operator didn't mention it, we booked with Leger and the rep. made a point of telling me several times.

If the pool is really important to you could you upgrade to the Newport Bay Club ? although to echo previous posters comments even during our week long stay at the NPB we didn't make it to the pool.
