We are booked at the Disneyland Hotel the week of March 16th and I'm wondering how much swimming we will be able to do. We have a five day pass for Disneyland, so I'm hoping to take it easy with lots of breaks back at the hotel.

The boys don't mind the cold air when swimming - I have the best picture of my youngest swimming last year on our Disney Cruise to Alaska with a glacier in the background and people wandering around in their winter coats.

So I'm just wondering if the pools are open, heated and functional during that time period.

Thanks

We've made quite a few trips in January, sometimes we swim, sometimes we don't. It depends upon Mother Nature. The pools are open and heated.

Great question! We'll be visiting DL that same week. I'm curious as to whether or not to pack bathing suits also.

I have the grandkids bring their suits every trip. We're usually there for 5 or 6 days. January is the month we traditionally visit DL.

We are from the Pacific Northwest. SoCal's winter weather is about the same as our summer weather. So for us when we pack for the trip, we toss in shorts and t-shirts.

My grandkids chuckle when we are in SoCal and see people wearing coats and it's 60*.

I guess it depends on where you are from, as to whether you'd be comfortable swimming in SoCal at that time of the year.

Nice thing is a swim suit doesn't take much room in the travel bag.

Well, there will likely still be snow on the ground at home when we visit California in Mid march, so I'm thinking we can bring some t-shirts, shorts and our swim suits. YEAH!
