Will it be warm enough to swim at the water parks in March? I know March weather is kinda iffy, but in general, would the weather be warm enough? What are the crowds like?
When we were there March 4-12 2004, the weather was awesome, it was 85 and 90 degrees, the lowest was 82 degrees. We used the pool at the resort at night and it was still hot enough. So i would say that yes you can do the water parks too.
We swam every day last year March 13-19.The pools were warm and most days temperatures were over 75. We had a couple of warmer days and a few times it rained for 1/2 day. It was busy but we saw everything we wanted to in 5 days.Epcot was least busy park. Fast Pass was useful and we had one PS each day so we didn't wait in lines for meals. We grabbed a quick breakfastat POR and ate an early dinner( usually around 5:00) We are going for the same week this year! You will have a great time!!
There are a lot of factors you can't count on until you get there, but I would say "pack the swimsuits" because you will probably get many chances to swim in March. The pools will be heated, and the water parks will be open.
We went last year March 10-20 and went swimming every day. The weather was mid-70s to mid- 80s every day. There were two days of showers but it was still quite warm. We are going again this March so lets hope the weather is just as good!
I have been to WDW in March and it was warm enough for swimming (plus the disney pools are heated)! I didn't think it was too crowded (my friends did though they were used to going in Feb when it was dead/whereas I was used to going around July), but we got to the parks early and took advantage of fast pass and it was just fine.
Good question. I think it will be fine.
Tip: Go in the late-morning to the afternoon. It is warmer around that time, but you might have a problem with crowds.
