Do any resorts have indoor pools? Are the pools heated? Can you realisticly swim in FL in January??

No indoor pools. Pools are heated. If you are from the North, the weather will seem lovely for swimming. ;) Obviously it is better to swim in the day with the warmth of the sun. The main issue is the wind. It can be very brisk in FL in January, even though the air temperature is in the mid-80s.

On the other hand, we have seen January with temperatures in the 90s and the 40s.

Hope for the best, but be prepared that swimming may not be possible for you.

Hi!! We were at the BC last January ( the last week into Feb.) and my kids swam either 2 or 3 different nights. The first 2 days were kinda cool and damp, but after that it warmed up. I don't remember if that quiet pool is heated. I didn't swim because I was doing laundry--which is right next to the quiet pool---worked out great. Dh would swim, then get in the hot tub. So, I guess it was ok--the kids didn't complain. They won't swim if it's really cold.

Hi,
The resort pools are all outside and are heated. We have traveled to WDW in January many times and there are always people swimming it realy depends on where those people are from and what they consider to be warm/cold. We usually do not swim when the air temp. is in the high 60's or low 70's with steam coming off of the pool that is being heated to 80 degrees but there are people swimming. Bring your suit and enjoy.
