What are the chances of it being warm enough to really enjoy the pool at the end of February/beginning of March?

It's probably going to be in the 60s or 70s, which I don't necessarily consider pool weather :rotfl: It's possible the pools are heated, but I'm not sure. Jacuzzis would be perfect though!! Especially during the evening :cloud9:

Depends on where you are coming from really. We live in Montana and when we visit California we go to the blissfully empty beach and wade in the water sometimes waist deep while my sister that lives in California sits there in her uggs and parka.

I agree, when I leave the snow behind SoCal is hot.

Oh yeah.....when you live in northern Canada it is warm enough to swim in Feb. We did just that last Feb and got a huge kick out of everyone in their winter coats and toques when it was 65 degrees outside.:rolleyes1

It is hit & miss but the last few weeks have been HOT the coming week is suppose to be cool.

We have swam every time we have gone (Aug, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Apri, June, July)

When we went last February we left our swim clothes at home because I assumed it would be too cold to swim. I was wrong and wound up buying new swim suits while were at DL. We'll be arriving this Saturday and the forecast is for it to be cool and to have some rainy days. I'm going to take the swim clothes because I'm sure if I don't take them then it will warm up and be fine. I'd say it's a crap shoot.

Lately we've even had temps up closer to 80 which is definitely swimming weather! We're back to the 60's this week though. It just depends :)

Depends on the pool too. My daughter swam in the ourdoor pool at our hotel on a very cold December evening. But the pool was warm enough and she had a blast.

Growing up in Los Angeles, I say ... definitely pack your swim suits. It may be too cold for them, based on your personal preferences and the weather forecast, but a random 80 degree day in February/March is not unheard of.

weathers being really funky the past few days... high 70s in the day, low 40 in the night...
