Ok...I have something to shoot for! I WILL pack my snorkel and be brave! We were in the water at CC last Saturday. Not going to lie, when you go in it's cold. Lol! But you acclimate quickly. We snorkeled and did the slides and had a great time.
I find this website to be helpful also

Sorry, but this just made me laugh! I live near the Great Lakes and if they ever get up to 70 degrees in the summer we're all celebrating how warm the water is! Usually it never gets that warm but we still swim all summer long!We were there in March and it was FREEZING! I think the water temp was 70. We'll be back next Christmas so I'm glad to see 77 this week, hopefully we'll be snorkeling. We were so excited to snorkel and tried to adjust to the water but it was just too cold and we had to bail on snorkeling.
I live in Indy! Usually we're happy to not have coats on, especially in March. The air temp was perfect to us but the water wasn't working for us. I probably would have snorkeled anyway but my husband and daughter weren't going along. My daughter asked to go back on the ship and we ended up in the heated pool.Sorry, but this just made me laugh! The website says the coldest water temp recorded was 73° in 2010 which is like Nantucket in the summer so I'm good with that.Very interesting that it says the water doesn't get below 68 degrees. We've been there twice in Jan and three times in March. I found the water to be absolutely FREEZING every time. Guess I'm a whimp, lol!! Air temps are perfect for sitting in a chair with a Mojito though!!![]()
