Swimmie Diapers in Resort Pools

Despite the clouds here in DC, I just returned home from the local pool with DS and DD. DD is 2 y.o. and wears a swimmie diaper, but our pool only allows swimmies to be worn in the baby pool. So that means the DS (6 y.o.) has to spend his time in the baby pool, too (I can't leave him alone in the big pool and DD isn't allowed in big pool).

So my question is...Does anyone know if Disney resort pools allow children still in diapers to wear swimmie diapers and go in the main pool at each resort?

Swim diapers are allowed in all the Disney pools. But swim diapers are VERY expensive in the resort shops, so I would strongly advise you to bring from home.

They can go in any pool as long as they have their swimmies.
Bring them with you though!

Yes non potty trained children can swim in the main pool with their swim diapers on. I would agree bring a pack from home as they are costly to buy at the resorts.

I was told that children under three years had to wear swimmies in any of the WDW pools regardless of whether they are toilet trained or not. Does anyone know if this is true? Our DGS is two and a half and he is completely toilet trained. Will he have to wear the swimmies?

Giving this a little bump to see if someone can answer my question here. Thank you

I don't know the actual rule, but I saw lots of kids at ASMo under age 3 not wearing them when I was there in May, they had regular swim suits on.

Someone explain to me how a swimmer diaper makes a difference? - they were fairly new for my last child and we bought them, but I don't see how they were any more sanitary. I guess I just bought them because it was the new thing at the time.
