Swim suits at Walmart in Florida?

We leave Duluth, MN for WDW in 6 days! But I wasn't able to find a swimming suit for my daughter (size 24 or so) up here this summer...I guess I didn't start looking early enough. But there are, of course, none to be found here this time of year at any of my usual shopping spots. What are my chances of finding something reasonable in the plus sizes at, say, Walmart, once we get down there? Do they carry these items year round? I would hope so, but I haven't had to look before. I don't want to pay a lot, but I don't want to have to share a suit with her, either. Does anyone know?

If you dont want to take a chance, go to the Lands End website
www.landsend.com they have bathing suits in plus sizes still.

Don't worry about it Mom B! It's Florida - they sell swimsuits year round! Even if you don't have a car on your trip, you can pick up one in some of the shops at Downtown Disney ($$$ - If you have a car, I recommend Walmart).

I'm from Texas... even our Walmart still has suits available (as I guess our swimsuit season lasts a bit longer than Duluths)!

If you don't want to chance finding something you like, you could go ahead and order online as gibbys1 suggested... but trust me.. you will still be able to find all sorts of suits at every imaginable location in Florida. I forgot mine last year (at WDW in December) and bought a great one (plus size) at Walmart.

Yep, they will have them... don't worry!

But I will second the Lands End.. they last lovely, and they are great made suits...

Go to the Overstocks area, and they do have some suits at deep deep discounts.... in those sizes as well.

Thanks for the great suggestions, everyone. I was hoping that would be the case, but I feel so much better now! It does feel a little strange worrying about swimsuits, though, since we woke up to about 3 inches of snow this morning. Fortunately, we're 2 or 3 hours north of the folks closer to the Twin Cities who have 6 to 8 inches today. A little bit early for serious winter, even for here!

I live in south Texas and the weather is still warm here but I haven't been able to find any stores who still have swimsuits. Walmart said they sent them all back when they got their fall clothing in. (I checked the stores at the mall, Target, and Walmart.) My two teen sons need swim trunks so I am hoping we can find them when we get to Florida in a few days.

I guess it just depends on the Walmart. I'm near Dallas/Plano and all of our Walmarts still have suits (mostly on clearance.. but still a great selection).

But don't worry about Florida... they honestly do keep suits out year round. We have been to Disney in January, February, April, October, November & December - and someone in our party has forgotten their suit and had to buy a new one. And had no problem finding one!

Don't go to the Supertarget on the way to the resort, though. (John Young parkway???) We were there in Sept and they had their suites clearanced. I was shocked! There is a shop in DD that sells suites, so you will find them, just don't go to Target.
