I know there was a thread on this late last year, but now that the What Will You Celebrate promo has started anyone have any experiences they want to share? I would love to hear specifically the dinner at Napa Rose.

All I know is that it runs $150/couple and that if you dined at the Napa Rose you had your own private balcony and server.

Anyone?

:lovestruc

Oooohh I haven't heard of this. I hope someone shares their info on it. My Husband and I might want to do this in December.

I don't have any answers for you Courtney, sorry. But I am interested, too, so am bumping this up for you.:)

The URL does not work on the link though.

This thread is in depth and the price varied from restaurant and was also offered at WDW. Check out post 24 and the last page.

It is strange that I scoured the internet and there are so many disboarders but so few reports or anything on this as well as that it is not even found on the Disneyland site.

We decided not to get this when we go for our anniversary. We looked at the menu for it and decided we would rather order our own items at Steakhouse 55. And I don't drink. It just didn't seem worth the price to me and I didn't care for the menu.

I have seen several posts about people considering this dinner package, but not one post where someone actually DID it! :confused3

I thought about it for DBF's bday dinner but decided against it. I'm considering it again for our anniversary dinner but I'm hoping to actually go to Catalina Island (thanks Sherry!!) instead of DL for that so we will see......we won't do it with the kids (of course) and all our coming visits are with the kids so no opportunities to do it coming up. :)

I find it strange that there are so many DLR fans out there and I cannot find on any site very many reviews for any of the restaurants let alone Napa Rose. What reviews I did find were about the cost versus what you actually get.

Thank you everyone for you answers! :)

Maybe I should call Disney Dining and get a more in depth scoop?

If you find out any info other than what is on the website, please post! I would especially like to know what the menu choices are and other things that are "included" in the package price. :)

Yes please Courtney! :)

Okay! I'll call later tonight, depending on what I do tonight. If not tomorrow on my lunch! I'll keep everyone posted!

I just know that the menu is limited with just 2 or 3 options(beef, chicken, veggie) but that it comes out of the Napa Rose kitchen. So we decided that we wanted to choose from the delicious looking menu at NR instead.

I also read somewhere that you get souvenir champagne glasses.

So I called Disney Dining right now and spoke to a wonderful CM. She told me the Sweetheart Dinner is available at Blue Bayou and Steakhouse 55 for $150/couple and at Napa Rose for $180/couple.

As for the menu you get to pick off 3 or so items from the regular menu. From Blue Bayou you can pick either the filet migon, salmon, chicken or portabello mushroom. Napa Rose it was seabass, duck, risoto or something else. Steakhouse 55 was halibut, chicken or steak.

At Blue Bayou you get 2 champagne flutes with sparkling cider and Napa Rose and Steakhouse 55 you get them with champagne.
