Travel: Ok so our trip started early in the morning heading to the airport all squished into the van because some of us had overpacked a bit. I’m not going to name names *cough* Briana *cough* The plane ride wasn’t terribly long (and Briana wasnt very nervous at all it was her first flight I on the other hand dont deal with planes so well) but we waited at the airport for the bus for quite a long time!
being squished in the car earlier
on the plane :]
When we finally got to our hotel, All Star Movies, we wandered around the gift shop for a bit, bought mugs from the food court, and I got my birthday button from the front desk. My parents headed back to the room while the four of us girls were still looking around. After we got a snack we went to see our room. My parents had decorated the window with birthday stuff and there were Mickey Heads with each of the faeries from the Tinkerbell movie and our names on them! They were so cute I still have them!
It says ‘Celebrating my birthday Disney style’ the letters have all the Disney characters on them. My mom told me how hard it was to get those from people on the Creative Disigns board without me seeing because, at the time I was on there quite a lot. Oh The next day one of the maids made me a towel birthday cake it was so cool! I don’t think I have a picture though but I still have it!
Later on we got hungry so we headed to downtown Disney for dinner, shopping, and trick or treating! I love the free trick or treating they offer it’s great! We ate at the earl of sandwich which was really good I suggest it! Briana thought downtown was so cool she really liked all the details and things in the stores I kept saying to her “Wait until you see the Magic Kingdom tomorrow”
At Goofy’s candy company she found a wonka bar she has a Willy Wonka obsession.
I love this picture!
After enjoying DTD we headed back for some sleep we had an early morning.
Offical Day 1 Magic Kingdom/Halloween
I half woke up to the telephone ringing and picked it up to hear Stitch scream who knows what in my ear. I hate that wake up call with a passion and so did everyone else. You can hear it in the entire room it’s that loud, like it’s on speaker phone or something!
We got dressed met my parents outside our room (we had connecting rooms) and headed for the bus. When we got to Magic Kingdom it was so strange we were some of the only people around besides the CMs because it was that early! Walking down main street practically empty at sunrise is so beautiful!
The look on Briana’s face was totally priceless her mouth fell open and her eyes bugged out and she just started smiling! Now before this trip Briana was excited to go on vacation and ride rollercoasters the planning video and a few pictures didn’t do much for her she didn’t really care that we were going to Disney world. I kept telling her “just wait until you get there you’ll get sucked in like the rest of us” and she totally did. She’s dying to go back now.
This is my favorite part of our trip.
After oohing and aweing at main street we went to crystal palace for breakfast. It was so good!!! Briana was really excited to meet Tigger lol and I got the first of MANY cupcakes. As we were getting ready to leave we started to see this MASSIVE crowd of people flood the parks we just sat there staring at them all. Just a second earlier the park was EMPTY everyone that came in with us earlier had gotten to their reservation but all those people came in and just filled the place. My mom used tour guide Mike and most amazing advice he gave was to ALWAYS start at the back of the park your in and work your way forward. The biggest part of the crowd will always be found in the front of the park because they stop at the first thing they see. So we went to the back of the park and went on all the rides without ever having to stop and wait. It was like this for the rest of the day. I think the only lines we really stood in were Splash Mountain for five minutes in the fastpass line and big thunder mountain for about fifteen minutes because we didn’t fastpass that one. After doing everything behind the castle we went to Pirates of the Carribean. I was SO EXCITED to get Briana on that ride she is the ultimate Pirates fan. She knows literally EVERYTHING about the movies down to the what kind of thread they use for their costumes. She loved it! She even dumped her empty water bottle into the water to fill it up. She still has it sitting on her dresser today with “Pirates Water Don’t Drink” written on it! We explored the rest of Adventureland and then decided that when we came back for the Halloween part we’d go see Tommorowland, so we shopped down Main Street on our way out.
Here’s where I’m going to stop I’ll write more soon!
