I have found that a lot of people like to boot me in Pirates...even a CL booted me (which IMO is very un CL like, but this wasnt the first time a CL booted me) well this evening after being booted repeatedly by this one person I jumped on the other side right before they hit start... 4 humans against me and 3 computers.

I WON!!! Yes, that is right.... I WON.... neener neener neener


So if you see Laurabearz playing pirates... keep me or boot me, I DONT CARE!!! Revenge is sweet.... it really is.
(but being booted from a game sucks... and I know, I get booted all the time.... jerks)

I got booted a few times from pirates over the weekend, but I kind of expected it to happen; people want their ice and credits and a guaranteed win! LOL

Hmmm...Since when were CL's supposed to give up a shot at a win and ice to open up the blue team? Sorry, but I helped a LOT of new players get to level 3 the past 2 days. I always boot from the blue team because if I don't, it's usually me against 4 experienced players and an almost guaranteed loss for the people I'm helping advance. Next time you get the boot from a game, please try to think of the other team, too.

But please note I have in fact booted people from the blue team. It was a necessity, not because I am mean. I needed too - I was helping newbies who just started level 3 to get a handle on that level. Nothing like having a newbie get to level 3 "The Quest for Ice"> and to loose. Very heartbreaking for that person as well as the guide who helped them to get there. I started to ask people to leave the blue team, but when they chose not to listen - they got the boot.

In addition, I know several CL's who were also playing a role that I was - moving people forward. So please do not pass judgement on a CL, if they boot you.

I boot people too... sorry, but I dont want to waste 5 minutes of my time. I am credit hoarding, nothing more. I dont play it for fun, but for credits and ice chairs. But I always allow thge red team to fill up instead of playing alone like I used to do because of the garbage that we cant make a game. If it was still open to everyone to play and I didnt have to wait 20 minutes to play the game, I wouldnt boot because i would play alone, but sorry, 5 mins of play time plus 20 mins of "game unavailable" time only to loose because an expert player wants to play on the blue team every time? Sorry.

You only need 1 team (red) in pirates. Why ppl would play AGAINST other ppl is beyond me @_@! lol it's us against them (computers) lol . Oh well, anyone can play with me and I'll help you anytime to get to level 3 and the magic, just ask-np! Woot Woot! LOL

I guess I wasnt clear enough.... These people booted me from the RED side, and I too am after the credits and Ice.

And I have helped a lot of people move up...

It just irks me to be booted from the red side..... it is hard enough to just get in a game.... I think if you make it in, you should be in....

Well I hope it was not me that gave you the boot...I do not usually boot people but WDWr and DisAeryn and I had been trying forever yesterday to have a game together I finally got one started and of course everyone in the room jumped in before they could join so I did boot a few people, which I might add is something I do not usually do.


So if I booted you please do not take it personally it was not intended to be mean...we just wanted to play one game together and as it turned out that was when the game was just booted everyone right back to the lobby so we never got our game.

I have had my share of being booted out of others games and do not take it to heart...if I get in on a game I did not start I am thankful if I get the boot I just wait until the next game.

Have fun everyone! there is plently of Feb left to get ice!

ok, so i was there.... and i think i was the one who did it under one of my mules.... i was trying desperatly to play on a team with my freind. a freind who i know in real life, and she could not sign up fast enough! lol. so i was not booting anyone in particular, just so my poor little friend and i could actually play a game together on level three since she has not gotten her magic pin yet.

i felt so bad! but i was like there is no other way we can play! and then bear just kicked our butt! and i was like wow! you go girl! i was all rooting for bear in my head! it was an awesome underdog moment! and very impressive.

anyhow, i'm sorry. it had everything to do with playing with my friend and not you at all. anyhow, you did awesome! and i'm sorry again.

It's all good (esp since I kicked butt) and I really do understand wanting to play with friends.... maybe people could mention that they want their friends to play, I would happily leave, ya know??

But on weekends.... evenings... I am just so thankful to get INTO a game (which can take some time) and then to be booted.... well you all know the story.

Of course, I was booted off a red team before they started, probably
because the game starter was in a game with me just prior to that...

...and saw how totally useless I am playing Pirates!

I should never have volunteered to help others, as I really have not improved
one iota in the game. Lately, I've been hanging around trying
to form a game. I'd get too frustrated and head over to fireworks.

A couple of times, I've won the game for "double ice", and a couple of times,
I would have won the games if I hadn't disconnected in the final
level!! (I'm sure that was happening to many of you
yesterday, too. LOL)
