Swapping which points are used

I currently have a contract with a December use year, so 150 points available as of December 1, 2025. I have another contract in ROFR which will have 100 points banked from 2024 which must be used by February 28, 2026.

If I use my December contract now to book a few nights in February 2026 (to lock in the availability), assuming my second contract closes, is there any chance I’d be able to swap the points used for the February 2026 reservation so it’s using the points that will expire instead? Would member services be able to help with that or would I have to roll the dice on canceling and rebooking as quickly as possible?

Sounds like they are different UYs so what you’d need to do is transfer the banked points from the new membership to your Dec UY and then have MS reallocate them.
