Swapping Table Service credits???

Have booked OKW for Oct 2011 and was wondering whther we could swap Table service credit for Counter service for a couple fo the meals. Got the DDP for free and poss won't use a couple of Table service.

They have, in the past during very high-volume periods, allowed such a switch - 'trading in' TS credits for CS credits/snack credits in some combination.

This is not a common, everyday practice, and if it were me, I would not plan on being able to do so.

Why not schedule a 2 credit TS meal? That would take care of 2 at once.

They only allowed this once in our experience and that was way back when the dining plan included tax & tip! You could trade your TS credit for one CS and one snack.

You may have luck with this if you try at your resort, the food courts there seem to be more flexible. But I think it's unlikely.

We were able to do this near the end of our trip. The CM's first tried to offer to try to get us in where we wanted. They were friendly and helpful and tried to not switch.
I was friendly and asked please again.
They switched one TS for each in our party, I believe.

use for say Hoop de do dinner show as that takes 2 TS each or a signature dinner takes 2 TS like at Artist Point or Contemporary Grill or Brown Derby and some others all take 2 TS. we use some TS for character breakfast as well.

We did Cinderella's Royal Table. It was well worth 2TS credits. Food was really good (did not expect this after so many bad reviews of food). It was one of the best breakfasts I've had.
Kids absolutely loved it! My DS as much as my DD. (He dressed like a prince because he wanted the princesses to kiss him. It worked. . .)
Swords, wands and photos (and tip included) was nice, too.

You may have better luck doing this at your resort CS. Some of the park CS may turn you down.

I didn't have any luck getting the switch done at the eating establishment itself - but I did go to the conceirge desk at our resort and the girl there did some computer magic....not sure if I just hit a good day or maybe it's something the offices/concerige desks can do that the restaurants themselves can't....
