Okay we are just under 60 days out and I have been discussing with the kiddos what they may want to order at particular restuarants. The problem is that our 15 year old is not as adventurous in dining as our younger children. At places like the Coral Reef, could my 9 year old eat her adult plate and she eat off the kids menu and not mess up the credits. Or is that a no-no?

Thanks ahead for any help.

I would do that once the server left.... Order for both of your kiddo and swappie them around. We have done that with stuff, DD got soup at Le Cellier but didnt want it, ordered it anway and Dh ate it. Same thing kinda.

If for example you have 3 Adults and one child in the DP group you cannot order more than 3 Adult meals. You could all order kids meals, but you can't use a kids credit for an adult meal at TS places. You can do exactly what you describe and even let the server put the right plate in front of your 15yo. Finally, you are allowed to share so your family will have a custom made buffet for your family!

Sharing is definitely allowed (and expected with my family!)--as long as everyone is on the DDP, and you use the appropriate number of adult and child credits. ENJOY!!:thumbsup2

okay Docgrumpy where can I get that BLT in your siggy line? It looks yummy!!

BTW my DH grew up in Calument.

We will be on a dinner plan of a family of 4. However our oldest son will be making a quick visit to WDW during his college break to see us. He will not be on a dining plan at all. I have made dinner reservations for 5 at La Cellier. I plan to pay for his meal. Will the restaurant have a problem if we all share each others food? I plan to tell the server that we 4 will be using TS and my oldest will be paid with cash. My college kid will obviously order something on the menu since he is not paying for his meal.

My wife found it for me. If you cannot copy it from my link, let me know--I will see if we can find it for you.

We have been here in Calumet for seven years this week. Do you get up here anymore?

You should not have any problems at all when they see you order OOP for your son. The whole thing behind it is that Disney realizes that alot of credits go unused for one reason or another. If they allowed people to share their credits, they would not have those credits returned to them unused and they would also lose OOP purchases. Enjoy LeCellier. One of my favorites--try the strip, much better than the filet!:goodvibes

We were there last July. It is beautiful there. I just would not like the winters. I am a wimp when it comes to cold. :rotfl: How do you like it?

It is different, to say the least! Both my wife and I are from Brooklyn, NY, so you can see why I say that. We actually had snow flurries today. Do you guys still have family up here?

Wow! You must be in culture shock! What a HUGE difference! I have to ask what made you leave the "Big City" for such a slooooower place? Are you retired? If so congrats!!!

My DH has lots of family in Michigan but only a few left in the U.P. Do you have family there?

My kids want snow so bad. It is about 85 degrees here. So no snow anytime soon. They really have no idea what snow is. We get an ice storm occassionally but it melts 4-6 hours later. To make a snowman they collect snow from ALL the neighbors. It is a leaf filled, grass filled snowman with green grass all around it. :rotfl:

My 5 yo son and 11 yo dd did at Coral Reef last April. DD wanted the kids menu and ds loves crab legs so they switched and both got what they wanted. The way I see it is that we bought 4 adult meals and 1 kids meal (exactly what we were supposed to) who cares who eats what.
