Swapping Magic Bands for FP+?

Perhaps it's not good Karma but in the past when you got FP tickets you
could use one of your kids cards to get extra FP tickets assuming they
did not want to ride a particular ride of momma needs a break, etc....

I assume you can simply use someone else's Magic Band to do the same?
