Swap Question...

I was wondering what the MGM and AK swap is that I've been reading about on this board? I have only been lurking around for a few days here. I love it. I started scrapbooking about two months ago. I really enjoy looking at others scrapbooks.

It's basically where we sign up to make something related to the theme (MGM, AK, MK etc) and you can make toppers, paper piecings, etc for each person in the swap, and in return they each make one for you too! So if there are 9 people in the swap, you make 9 toppers for instance, and then you get 9 different things back. Everyone mails their items in to the hostess with return postage and she organizes all the items and mails them back to the swap participants. Clear as mud? Hope I helped a little.

Thanks Snow White! That's sounds cool. I bet it helps you get your pages done easier. Are all things suppose to the acid free, lignin free, etc. That would go in a scrap book? I see there is a AK swap. I already posted! I know CM has some cool animal stickers to make things with. I'm going to a Hip to be square class tonight with my CM consultant. You use the square punch to make boards and such. Hmmmmm....I think I sense a fun srcrapbook project coming on.


It might even be fun to host one of these! Then you could see everyones work while your sorting!!!

Yes, everything is supposed to be acid/lignin free for scrapbooks, you can use magic mesh, twine, wire, eyelets etc too, just use your creativity! Have fun at your class tonight! I'm taking a Stampin Up class tomorrow, can't wait!
