Swap borrowed points for banked ones?

Here are the facts:

1) I have 2 contracts with the same use year but diff resorts.
2) I have a reservation that was made within the 7 month window that is using banked points from contract #1 and borrowed points from contract #2
3) I have some unused borrowed points from contract #2.

Can I swap the unused borrowed points from contract #2 for the banked points from contract #1? Or does banked have higher priority than borrowed?

I assume you want to swap because of the resort? I'd guess MS could do that - you'll just have to call.

Yes, I want to swap because of resort. I just wasn't sure if banked had higher priority over borrowed. I believe their system will not allow them to swap current points for banked OR borrowed. I'm just curious if I should push the matter if the first CM says it can't be done.

They can but it's hit or miss and there is a small chance they'll lose your reservation. You can also swap for current UY points and then bank them if you want. The only advantage to swapping and ending with banked/borrowed points is if you can reserve that home resort further out than 7 months which sounds like your plan.
