Swan ?

When I go to the DU website to check for the teacher rate it says that they arent booking past July 2008.

When do you think they will open it up for beyond that? Also, what is the best rate for the Swan that you have gotten in August/Sept? I would really like to stay here, but the price may be a deal breaker. Hoping for the $129 I've seen.

The BEST rate I have gotten there was $149 last week in Aug/thru labor day. This year it seems they have increased to $179.50 (with AAA Disc.) which is comparable to Teachers Discount I was told. Soooo, no longer that cheap! Also, that is for a STANDARD ROOM overlooking Parking Lot/Gardens!

What is the teacher discount? I've never heard of this before!! Can you apply it to any WDW resort? What about park tickets/hoppers?

The teacher discount is only for teachers/substitutes/classified staff and does not apply to all resorts just the Swan and Dolphin.
