Swan vs. WL

Where would you stay? We just got back from BWV and plan on staying in VWL at the end of the year. We are planning a summer trip and aren't quite sure where we should stay!

*I* always prefer staying at a MK resort. Plus, I've stayed at WL & LOVED it! So, WL is my choice.

If you're planning on spending most of your time at MK, then stay at WL. If Epcot/MGM are your main parks, then stay at the Swan.

I had already thought of where we go more. I can honestly say we split our time pretty equally between all the parks, including AK. I however do not want to stay at AKL. I may just book at WL and then if a good AP code does not come out switch over to the Swan.

I think I would book in reverse. If you can get a discounted rate at the Swan, then I would book that now through the S/D or dreamsunlimited, because those rates do disappear. If a code comes out you can book through CRO for WL. You could even book now through CRO and wait for an AP rate. Now you have two reservations and can decide if you want to split the stay, where you want to split it, or if you want to call and get rid of one of your reservations. Either way, you're going to Disney! Have fun planning!
