I have been searching through threads to find as much information as I can about the Swan & Dolphin. Everyone seems to know each other and so it has taken pages and pages of reading to get one piece of information and for me (who knows nothing about these resorts) I'm gettting confused
Could someone please help ?? I'm trying to learn about the pros, cons, & comparisons of the two. What are some ways to get discounts? I found a page in which Starbridge (or whatever it's called) hotels were having a stay 4 nights get 2 free deal, and the page went away and I can't find it again. Any other deals I should know about? I have AAA. I am not in the govt, or a nurse, but I do have an eduacation degree (no teaching job yet though :( ) Help Help, I need a Disney fix! We're thinking of going sometime between late June and early October, whenever we can get the best rate. Just two of us adults. Thanks for any help in advance!
PS- I wanna be in the sorority ;)

If you have your teaching certificate, you will be able to get the teacher discount. Bring a copy of it with you when you check in! *good luck with the job search!* You can call the Swan or Dolphin directly, or use Dreamsunlimitedtravel.com to see if your dates are available with the discount. There is a page there where you can put in your dates, and what discount you'd like to check on. There is also an entertainment book rate. You don't have to have the book to book the rate, just buy one afterwards if you get the rate! I believe that is half off rack rate.

Welcome to the sorority! Go post over on that really long thread and just say I sent you! LOL Only a few have met, most of us haven't, but we share a lot of the same loves in life, and we're a great group! They are the best! We are planning on a sorority sister meet in middle/late July at the Swan and Dolphin!

Happy planning!
Debbie

Thanks so much for your help. I'll see what I can find. Where can you purchase the entertainment books, and do you have a link to the FAQ thread for Swan & Dolphin?

THANKS :teeth:

The original FAQ is right above this post, at the top of the boards. That has the basics in it. The new thread *we are on #3* is

You can buy an entertainment book through mousesavers.com
Sometimes they have deals on them when they are about to release the new year. You can get your area, or the orlando area. Either will have a coupon for starwood properties that will work. I think they also have a website using their name.

Happy planning, and welcome to the DIS!

Hey I just wanted to tell you that AAA is half of rack rate- im going in july and paying 147.50 a night at the Dolphin so I dont think you need to buy the entertainment book if you are already a AAA member. Good Luck:bounce: :Pinkbounc
