Swan teacher rate questions

Just wondering if I can take advantage of the teacher rate at Swan/Dolphin if I'm a teacher's aide...and I'm also wondering how they verify that you are indeed a teacher when you check in.

One other question: can you upgrade to concierge from the $99 rate...and if so, how much extra is it?

Quick note, the rate is no longer$99.00! They ran that promotion for a short time, now the teachers rate is abck at $129.00 I believe! That is such a great rate for the hotel!

Luckily, we were able to get a better deal than the teachers rate (my dad and sister are teachers) from Vistina Villages (Sheraton) for $75 a night!
