Going to be staying for the first time at the Swan hotel. Would appreciate any help in determining a good room location for a family with two kids (DD 8 and DS 12). My DW doesn't like heights, so max floor level is 5. We would both love a newly renovated room with a waterview. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Most of the "deluxe balcony rooms" will give you some sort of view of the water although they may be a little obstructed in certain areas of the courtyard. Most of these rooms are located in the wings which are the east and west wing.

Too bad height is an issue because if you request an east wing facing BW you can see the fireworks from Illuminations from the higher rooms. I believe the wings go up to 7 or 8 floors, something like that. The main building is much taller. I'm not sure which rooms are renovated.

This is a nice hotel, (one of my favorites), check out Gulliver's for dinner, very good food. ENJOY!
