I will be staying @ the Swan Sept 22-Oct 1 and worked out a deal to get a Resort View Room w/Balcony for an avg of $153 per night (one night using points, 5 nights @ All Ears Rate of $169.50, 2 nights @ $264 with last night free using buy 2 get one free). So I am pretty happy with the avg rate and the fact they already upgraded me from a Lake view room with no balcony to a Resort View with balcony. Now I am wondering which rooms are the best to request with a Resort view room? Is a resort view room on one of the "finger" wings? Should I try to upgrade to Club Level when I get there? Any recommendations are appreciated!

Thanks!

I don't have the answer but have a very similar question. For the first time we will be traveling with a small child. My DGrS will just have turned 1 this June. I imagine the 18 to 25 year olds traveling with us will spend time at DD and PI while the DH and I spend additional time at the resort with the baby. To those that might have experience, should we take the Club level upgrade if offered (DH is starwood platinum)? If I understand my research correctly that would mean no balcony. Is there a specific way to request a room with a "view" and a balcony?
Thanks for all your help.
