I have been looking at the Swan/Dolphin site for the answer to this but I have not had any luck. I am sure someone here knows......

Are all the guest rooms at the Swan remodeled? Do they all have the "heavenly beds"? The site seemed to say that the rooms in the wings had heavenly beds. It did not mention the entire hotel.

This will be our first trip to the Swan. We are going to attend my uncle's 50th wedding anniversary there, and stay over a few nights. We have stayed at the Boardwalk before, so we know we love the Epcot area. Any other hints/tips about the Swan would be appreciated.

Thanks! ::MinnieMo

the simple answer to both questions is yes.

what else do you need to know ? we love the Swan so much that after we did 14 nights last year we booked 16 this year.

Thanks Alec for the answer and for the link to sign up to be a starwood member.

What restaurants are within the Swan building itself? I know that the Boardwalk area has plenty to choose from, but I wondered if the Swan had one inside.

What do you love the best about the Swan?

there are several places to eat at the Swan ( and of course the Dophin ).

The Swan has the Garden Grove for breakfast and then this restaurant becomes Gullivers Grill for dinner. we had dinner a couple of times and thought it was ok.

There is also Kimonos for Japanese and Palio's Italian but we din't get round to these. Shula's steakhouse and the new Blue Zoo at the Dolphin also get good reviews.

What did we like best ?

It was a combination of

location - we love Epcot / boardwalk and the boats or the ten minute stroll was great.

comfort - the beds really are that good and the room was nice and quiet. the rest of the hotel is A1 ( inc CM'S )

convenience - the club level continental breakfast is excellent in both food quality and the quick getaway to the parks. Mama T and Thabo are also two of the best CM'S you will ever meet.

the only drawback we encountered was that valet parking is a rip off at $14/day ( other Disney resorts $6 ) and is not transferable if you visit another Disney resort. We only did it one day then moved to the regular lot ( only a 2 min walk ).

The rooms and the beds are heavenly! We stayed at Swan last 12/28-1/02/04. We loved the hotel, staff, amenities(we also were on CL), location and the many eating choices. Fresh is wonderful in Dolphin as is Dolphin fountain(close second to B&C). Easy walk to BW and Epcot and quick boat to MGM. We loved it! Have a great time.
