does anyone know how much of a credit card hold they put on your credit card when you checkin i want to decide what card to use i have different credit limits on some of my cards ty . we are splitting between pop and swan i know the pop is 500.00 charge limit ty for any info you can tell me about checkin there ty.

There has never been a hold placed on my card at S/D. They just wait until the night before you check-out and run it all then.

Disney requires you to pay off your room at check in, but Swan/Dolphin lets you pay when you check out. I would recommend the express checkout the night before or checking out via tv. S/D doesn't put any hold on your credit card that I'm aware of. You also can't charge on room key at the parks and other resorts like you can with your Pop room key. You can only charge to your room at S/D restaurants or shops.

Even if. They do not put a hold on your card.

I am almost certain they don't charge you until check out.

While you are there you can check your account on the tv, that way you can tell exactly where you stand on your card. I recommend doing this anyway, DH did this every day, and every day they kept charging us wrong, he would call, they would fix it and the next day the charges would be on again.
