Swan or Dolphin??

I haven't booked my stay yet...so I was wondering...
Do we have the choice of either resort?
At which resort will the reception/breakfasts take place?
Is it easy to get around the 2 resorts?
I'm headed over to the SD FAQ but I wanted to ask here too.
You guys are the best!
I can't wait until December!

Hi Kim,

I know that registration and I'm pretty sure that ALL of the "official" events are at the Swan.
It is easy to get to the Dolphin from the Swan and vice versa.
CC has in her "room booking" thread that the special DC rate is available at the SWAN (Dolphin is not mentioned)

I got the impression that everything was being held at the Swan, too. Like Corinne said, I'm pretty sure the special room rate is only for the Swan rooms. But I could be wrong-I'm not staying there, so I didn't look into that closely. Check out Patrick's Itinerary for the location of the official events. I'm pretty sure he's got those listed now. Good luck!

The official events will be at the Swan. I don't know if they will honor the convention rate at the Dolphin, but you're a nurse, right? It seems to me that the convention rate is the same as the rate for nurses or government workers, $129/night.
